Join the Wolverine Worldwide Family YMCA for the 2nd Annual Game Day 5K road race on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 9:30am. Runners and walkers will represent their favorite team by dressing up in high school or college apparel, costumes, and face paint. The Game Day 5k route will be fully accessible to participants in wheelchairs. There will be a competition and prize for the school who recruits the most participants. Sign up the whole family - there will also be a 1 mile race for kids!

All proceeds of the Game Day 5k go to the Wolverine Worldwide Family YMCA's Annual Giving Campaign which supports a variety of impactful programs including scholarships to families in need, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA Cancer Wellness program, afterschool programs, water safety lessons for elementary students, and much more!

Immediately after the race, stick around for a free Family Fall Festival from 9 am - 1 pm to enjoy games, hayrides, food, prizes, and a free open house at the YMCA.

RACE PACKET PICKUP

Packets can be picked up at Wolverine Worldwide Family YMCA on Friday, October 2, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm and Saturday, October 3, 6:30 - 8:00 am.

TIMING

Chip timing will be used to record your time.

T-SHIRTS

A cotton t-shirt is included with registration. Participants may upgrade to a long sleeve tech shirt for an additional $15.

CORPORATE CHALLENGE

Whether your coworkers are competitive or just want to be involved, the corporate challenge is for you.  Put together a team of coworkers to race in one of the follwoing categories:  all male, all female, or coed (must have 2 females).  Suggested team size is 5 racers.  All participating companies have the opportunity to win the participant challenge.  The company with the most participants (friends, employees, and family members) will win a Y Challenge Course Open House at the Wolverine World Wide Branch.

AWARDS/CONTESTS

Trophies will be awarded to the overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female finishers. Medals and a YMCA Day Pass will be awarded to the1st place finishers in each age division. First place trophies will be awarded in the Male, Female and Coed Race Divisions.

Parking will be available on site at the Wolverine Worldwide YMCA.
