WCHS N3RD CLUB is proud to sponsor the 1st annual 5K Zombie Run! Come join us on Saturday, May 30th and see if you can survive the Zombie Apocalypse!
The Rage Virus (H3N26) has hit our whole nation and Columbus County has not been spared. Thousands have been infected turning our lovely communities into zombie-infested wastelands. In response to the national crisis the Rage Virus Response Agency (RVRA) has sent Response Teams to the rural areas of our country to set up Safe Zones. It is up to the remaining uninfected humans to reach the RVRA Safe Zones without getting infected in the process.
Along the route you will encounter zombie hordes that want nothing more than to eat your delicious brains. These zombies have the Rage Virus all over their skin and if they tag you, there is a possibility of contracting the H3N26 virus. If you make it to the finish line and our RVRA Doctors confirm you are contagion free you are officially prepared to survive the Zombie Apocalypse!
Note: Zombie volunteers are not allow to have forceful physical contact with runners, nor are they allowed to chase after runners.
All racers must sign the waiver, either online or in person the day of the event.
Registration begins at 8:30 am and the run officially begins at 10:00am! If you preregister on this website the race costs $5. If you register the day of the event the price goes up to $10. There are discount prices for groups of 5 and 10. Hope to see you there!
Directions:
From I95:
Take I95 South Exit 13A-B toward I74 East. Merge onto I74 East.
Turn Right on to NC-242.
Turn Left on to NC-76 East. Look for the signs.
