Join us for our 3rd Annual Fun Run for the Oceans. A 5K Family Beach Fun Run/Walk to benefit the Roundhouse Aquarium.
This is a fundraising event for the Roundhouse Aquarium. Help us continue our ocean education programs by participating in the Fun Run. Stop by the Roundhouse Aquarium after the event to celebrate World Oceans Day and learn more about the ocean environment.
Cost: $35 per person. Includes: T-shirt, water, and refreshments.
This is a family event, fun for all ages. There will be games and live touch tank animals after the race.
Divisions: A Boy and Girl Division of each: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-29, 30+.
There will be a raffle following the event with great prizes! Tickets are $5, you don’t have to participate in the fun run, but you must be present to win.
Course Information:
This is a beach run. The course is near the water and you are welcome to run in the wet or dry sand. It's 2.5K down and 2.5K back, starting and finishing in the same place.
Directions:
The race will be on the north side of the Manhattan Beach Pier. The closest address (for GPS purposes) is 100 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. Drive to the end of Manhattan Beach Blvd, and there will be lots with metered parking on either side. The pier is easily visible. We will be on the north side with plenty of signage.
