So, what is the Color Craze 5k all about?
FUN and raising money for The Special Olympics is what the Color Craze 5k is all about. The Color Craze 5k is sponsored by Eta Sigma Gamma at Western Illinois University. The focus is not on speed but fun! At each kilometer a color station will be set up where you will be covered in color. The color is safe, natural and edible! Upon completion of the race, enjoy food, music, Zumba, prizes, and more!
When is it and who can do it?
The Color Craze 5k is April 18, 2015 at 10:00 am. The race begins and ends at Vince Grady Field on the Western Illinois Campus and is open to walkers and runners 7 years old and up. Be there at 9:00 am for check-in and registration.
What is this going to cost you?
$35 per person until April 5. On April 6 the cost goes up to $50/person so register soon!
This year we are offering a discounted rate for groups of 5 or more: if your group registers before April 5, you'll get a cost break of $5 per person. Have a group of 10 or more, you'll get a cost break of $10/person! To get this discount your payment and registration must be postmarked by Friday, April 3, 2015. You can also drop it off at Stipes Hall 402 on the Macomb Campus of WIU.
