This is our fourth year for hosting this event in Baldwin City. This is a great opportunity for novices wanting to try a triathlon and it is also great race for experienced racers wanting a good workout. RaceDay Timing is being used to provide results. RossKC LLC will provide free pictures for downloading. Registraton fees increase on July 11. Registrations will be accepted the day of the race. Follow us on Facebook at Mapleleafcitytriathlon.
SPRINT COURSE: 300 M Swim in a Pool, 12 Mile Road Bike, and a 5 K Run. Check-in is from 5:30-6:30 am, with a 7:00 am start. Teams may also register to do the Sprint Course. The fee is $100.
SHORT COURSE: 100 M Swim, 4 Mile Bike, and a 1 Mile Run. The Age Divisions are set up in five year increments.
YOUTH COURSE: 50 M Swim, 1.5 M Bike, and a .5 Mile Run. Age Divisions are: 3-5 (must have a parent with them), 6-7, 8-9, and 10-11. Check-in for the Short and Youth Courses are from 8:30 to 9:30, with a 10:00 am start.
AWARDS: medals and t-shirts for all participants, first place placques for division winners, and certificates for 2nd and 3rd places. A prize will also be given to the top Male and Female finishers.

Swimming: 25 meter pool
Bike: paved road starting in town to a county road
Run: brick and asphalt paved road in town

All events start at the Baldwin Pool, 317 Fremont, Baldwin City, KS 66006.
Coming from I-35:
• take exit 210 through Gardener, Ks.
• Follow highway 56 for 17.5 miles
• take a right at Ames and 6th.
Coming from highway 59:
• take highway 56 exit
• Follow for 5 miles.
• Take a left at the Ames and 6th stoplight.
