Sprint distance triathlon featuring a lake swim, a bike ride through scenic, rolling hills, and a run that takes you up and down the dam.
Family friendly environment (beach area, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a restaurant on site).
Lots of course support!
Course Information:
500 meter lake swim
13 mile bike ride on quiet, scenic county roads
5K run that features a moderately challenging run up and down the dam
Directions:
Lake Santee, Decatur County, Indiana
From the west: I-74E to exit #132 (Greensburg) (SR 3), north to 300N. Go east on 300N to 850E, then north on 850E to 400N. Turn east on 400N. 400N takes you into Lake Santee, turn north at the "T", packet pick-up and registration is located in the community room below the Lake Santee office.
From the east: I-74W to exit #143 (New Point) (county road 850E). Go north on 850E to 400N, turn east. 400N takes you into Lake Santee, turn north at the "T", packet pick-up and registration is located in the community room below the Lake Santee office.
Other Info:
Overall winners (male & female) receive a trophy; age division winners (male & female) receive medals.
Finisher medals to all participants.
Local hotels give discounts to triathlon participants that stay overnight.
