General information: Join us for a great family event. There will be a 5k race with chip timing. We will also have a one mile Fun Run/Walk and a Toddler Trot for the little ones. Runners in the 5k will compete for over 100 trophies. All participants in the One Mile event (adults and children) will receive a medal. After the race please stay for some tasty refreshments. During the award ceremony we will have a drawing for prizes. Child care will be provided while parents run the 5K. The event will be held, rain or shine! No refunds! Instead of t-shirts, this year all participants in both races will receive a goody bag containing a unique ‘got grit?’ race cap and Hanteen. We love young runners…..all school-age youth, ages 6-19, can run in the competitive 5K for only $15.00. Profits from the race go for grit awards and scholarships for Orange County students.
