Get the triathlon season started with the Stroum JCC's First Annual Indoor/Outdoor Triathlon. An untraditional sprint distance, this triathlon will include a 10- minute swim, a 30-minute bike and a 20 minute run. This fun and supportive race is great for everyone from seasoned triathletes who want to test their training early in the season to beginners looking to try out their first triathlon.
Cost
Registration costs range between $30-45 for individuals and group teams. This race is open to both members and non-members. The price will include a race tee-shirt, cap, and race bib.
Race Day
The first heat of racers will begin at 9am on Sunday morning. After registration closes we will provide everyone with their specific heat and start time - we ask that you show up at least 30 minutes prior.
Directions:
Conveniently located off I-90, the Stroum JCC is easy to get to – whether you’re in Seattle or the Eastside. We are located at 3801 E. Mercer Way. Take I-90 to the East Mercer Way exit.
From I-90 Eastbound: Take Exit 8 for East Mercer Way. At the end of the exit ramp, turn LEFT and cross back over the freeway. Go straight through the light at the end of the overpass. At the next light (just yards away from the 1st light), the road turns into E. Mercer Way. Stay straight and take your 1st RIGHT into the driveway of the Stroum JCC.
From I-90 Westbound: Take Exit 8 for East Mercer Way. At the end of the exit ramp, take a RIGHT at the light. At the next light (just yards away from the 1st light), the road turns into E. Mercer Way. Stay straight and take your 1st RIGHT into the driveway of the Stroum JCC.
