Join the 5th Annual Brain Power 5K and 10K, Central Texas’ Race Against Brain Cancer on Sunday, September 13th! The BP5K funds brain cancer research, recognizes brain tumor survivors and remembers loved ones lost to this devastating disease. The 5th Annual Race on September 13th, is proud to benefit the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation for Brain Cancer Research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, as well as local efforts in our Central Texas brain tumor community. Local efforts include assisting underprivileged brain tumor patients through Austin Cancer Center’s LIVE Foundation and other local programs.
If you are a brain tumor survivor or have a loved one that has been affected by a brain tumor, please contact us so that we may properly recognize them. The Brain Power 5K is here for our Central Texas brain tumor community. Contact [email protected].
The race will take place on the scenic streets of Williamson County on September 13th starting at the Cedar Park Center, just northwest of Austin. It features a UST&F certified course which is flat, fast and stroller friendly. There will be age group awards from the chip-timed 5K in 5 year age categories (from 12 and over to 70+). All Kid’s K participants will receive a medal as well. After the race, join in a celebration honoring our brain tumor community with generous sponsors offering delicious food and drinks to all.
