Running : Run 3.1 Miles |
You might know that Bradford, Vermont was home to the first globe made and sold in North America, but did you know it was once considered the strawberry capitol of the Northeast, shipping 6,000 bushels of berries every year?
Come celebrate history *and* strawberries by running the inaugural Strawberry 5K during Bradford's annual strawberry festival! This year's celebration is extra special because it's part of the Bradford 250th Anniversary festivities. Enjoy a great 5K course that starts in the village and meanders by historial sites and homes, up and down a couple of healthy, scenic hills, and ends with a prize ceremony and post-run goodies.
This is a race to celebrate our community, our history, our future, and, of course, strawberries. We're keeping registration costs at a minimum so that more people can participate. If by chance you can't afford the race registration fee, contact the race director. Group and team discounts are also available.
Prizes will be given to
