The 6th annual Rio Grande Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk offers runners and walkers a chance to participate in a fun and scenic course that runs through the streets of “the Duke City” & along the river that flows right through the heart of Albuquerque. A great community event that brings together athletes for all ages and abilities to celebrate fitness, health, and camaraderie. It is also a benefit that raises money for Special Olympics New Mexico and many of the Special Olympic athletes participate in the event as well.
