2015 OHOH 5K RACE TO END CHILDHOOD CANCER:

The Inaugural OHOH 5K Race to End Childhood Cancer is Saturday, April 4, 2015!  Open Hands Overflowing Hearts (OHOH) was founded in 2014 by Kayla Perry of Hoover in response to her diagnosis of Neuroblastoma.  This 501(c)3 non-profit organization's mission is to raise awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research, find a cure, and bring an end to childhood cancer.

The race route will take runners from the new Helena High School field house onto Hillsboro Parkway to Highway 52, turn onto the Hillsboro Trail, around the Helena Middle School campus, and then finish back at the field house.  Whether you choose to run or walk the 5K or 1 mile fun run, there will be honored guests along the route to encourage you, friendly volunteers to guide you, water and powerade along the route, and wonderful refreshments at the end! Awards will be given to top 3 race times overall then by age group and gender.  Everyone that registers by March 14, 2015 will be entered for prize drawings at the event.  You must be present to win.  T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by March 28, 2015. Come join us for what we hope becomes your favorite race event of the year and help us raise money for pediatric cancer research.
