2015 Onion Man Triathlon:

  • The Onion Man Triathlon is an olympic distance race at the base of the Blue Mountains.
  • The course is a 2-loop lake swim with an out and back scenic bike and run.

  • NO DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION

    • Course Information:



    Triathlon Race Course:

  • 1.5 km 2 loop swim at Bennington Lake. Water temperature will be approximately 63-68 degrees. Wet suits are recommended.
  • 40 km Bike is an out and back scenic ride up Mill Creek Road with a slight elevation gain returning back to the transition area at the lake.
  • 10 km Run will be a moderate course on a gravel road as well as the paved bike path along the river through Rooks Park with no major hills.

  • Coming from Hwy 12, take Walla Walla Community College/Walla Walla Regional Airport exit, (Hwy 12 East turn right on Tausick Way. Hwy 12 West turn left on Tausick Way)
  • Turn left on Reservoir Road and follow the signs to Bennington Lake.
