The race will consist of a 5 mile trail run, followed by a 12 mile mountain bike loop. The course follows rolling singletrack near Lake Allatoona and is forgiving enough to be completed by a first timer, but will also be challenging to experienced racers. Individuals will race the entire course, while the two person relay teams will have one person run and the other will bike.
The run will take place on the Dwelling Trail and will go counter-clockwise.
The bike will include Mosquito Flats, Mosquito Bite, Dwelling, and South Loop Trails in a counter-clockwise direction. For those new to mountain biking, the course starts off easy and gets progressively harder, so you will have plenty of time to warm up before encountering the more difficult South Loop Trail. The terrain is gently rolling with moderate climbs.
Expect the overall winning time will be around 1.5 hours.
Due to the limited size of the parking area at Blankets Creek, race check-in and parking will be at the Sixes Presbyterian Church Parking lot, which is just west of Blankets Creek on Sixes Road.
