2015 Pain in the Alleganies Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquabike:

  • The race season is not over until you have finished Western New York's longest, toughest and most beautiful triathlon.

    • Course Information:


    Swim:
  • Turns will be mark with 6 ft diameter inflatable buoys.
  • PAIN Sprint course athletes will complete one loop.
  • PAIN athletes will complete two laps of the swim. 

    Bike:
  • The half course will be challenging with 2 climbs per loop.
  • There will be 3 aid stations on the half course at approx. mile 14, 28, and 42. Each will consist of water, HEED, Hammer Gel and bananas.
  • The Sprint and Du will have only one climb but will be challenging. 

    Run:
  • 6 aid stations per loop for the PAIN course (HEED, Water, ice, Hammer Gel, Coke, pretzels, bananas, animal crackers, Endurolytes and M and M's) and one in the transition area.
  • The Sprint and Du will have 3 aid stations.
  • The entire run course will be on paved bike paths inside the state park.
