The Kennebec Mountain Run features is a rugged trail race held in the La Plata Mountains, just thirty minutes west of Durango, Colorado. The 15-mile course features 3,400 feet of elevation gain and tops out on Kennebec Pass (12,200 ft) with sweeping views of the Animas and Dolores river valleys. A 8.5-mile option is also offered.
Proceeds benefit La Plata County Search & Rescue.
