This is an easy, aesthetically pleasing course for both runners and first-time 5Kers! EVERYONE who crosses the finish line will receive a FINISHER'S MEDAL, and we have age group awards three deep (0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). In addition, we are offering a Kids Action Marathon for children ages 5-14 at no additional cost. Just log onto our website at www.actionfordistraction.com to get your exercise logs, and then spend the three months leading up to race day logging 23.1 miles of exercise, then finish the last 3.1 with us to do a full marathon! Special prizes are awarded to kids who complete the Kids Action Marathon, and the school with the highest percentage of participants will receive $500 to put toward their physical education programs. Amenities include: t-shirt to the first 250 registered, DJ, Games2U Mobile Gaming Truck, Face Painter, amazing tricky-tray style raffle prizes, and lots of fun booths provided by our sponsors. In addition, WABC-TV Eyewitness News Personalities Ken Rosato, John DelGiorno and Shannon Sohn will be leading off all the activities and presenting awards and prizes!
Course Information:
The timed course is an easy, family-friendly out-and-back course that takes you through Chatham, Harding and Morris townships!
The course features a flat paved surface, 3 people wide, the entire length of the 1.6 mile trail that meanders through scenic woodlands! Serious runners, casual walkers, families and strollers all welcome! The tree covering provides shade, even in the hottest weather!

Directions:
A Shuttle bus will be provided to take people from 475 South Street to the park entrance at 75 Kitchell Road.
