2015 Bucket List Triathlon :

• The Bucket List Triathlon is a brand new event taking place at Nimbus Flat, Lake Natoma with two distances - a Sprint and a Super Sprint Triathlon, designed to provide a fun race experience for everyone.
• Finish the Bucket List Triathlon and scratch it off your Bucket List!
• Included with your entry fee is a Triathlon Gear bucket, courtesy of Home Depot and Total Body Fitness, along with a Bucket List Triathlon tech-tee shirt and athlete breakfast.

Course Information:


Swim
- A 200 yard or 500 yard swim in Lake Natoma.Water temperature will be in the low-mid 60’s. The course will be a counter clockwise rectangle course marked by swim buoys and monitored by TBF Water Safety kayakers.

Bike – The same 6.5 mile bike course along Folsom Blvd and the bike trail will serve both distance Triathlons. The course will exit the State Park via the bike trail overpass to Folsom Blvd. The course will turn left on Folsom Blvd and follow Folsom Blvd until Parkshore Drive. The course will turn left on Parkshore Drive and connect with the bike trail. The course will turn left on the bike trail and return to Nimbus Flat at Lake Natoma. Folsom Blvd will be monitored by TBF Road Safety Team and the Folsom Police Department. The bike trail will be monitored by TBF Road Safety Team and State Park Rangers.

Run – A 3-mile out and back run course for the longer race will be on the bike trail around CSUS Aquatic Center and over the Hazel Bridge. The course will turn right on the bike trail to the turn-around just past the Lake Natoma Dam. The finish line is lake front at Nimbus Flat. Aid Stations will be available at mile one and mile two with water FLUID Electrolyte Performance drink and Clif Shot energy gels.

The 1-mile run course for the shorter race leaves transition and runs on crushed granite path trails and single track trails combined with a little pavement before the aid station at the half-way point and then returns on similar terrain. ALL athletes for both races must wear their race number on the front of their body during the run and have it when crossing the finish line.
