2011 Spartan Race Sprint Vermont:

The Spartan Sprint Race is an 8-mile adventure race set to take place in Killington at the Killington Resort on Saturday, August 6^th.

The foot race features obstacles like 4' hurdles, 8' wall, 12' slippery ramp, cargo net climb, barbed wire crawl, water cannon, traverse wall, fire jump and has Spartan inspired elements like a spear throw and gladiator pit.

Proceeds of the race go to Homes for our Troops, a charity dedicated to providing specialty homes for veterans who have been severely injured. Each participant will receive a Spartan Race t-shirt and medal.

Other Info:

There will be a post-race party, awards ceremony and a kid's race, as well as many other activities guaranteed to be fun for the entire family!

Type in the word "spartan" and it will take $10 off the entry fee, but hurry because tickets are going fast!
