The HCSO Fallen Heroes Memorial Ride is a cycling event to benefit the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Memorial. Our memorial was constructed in 2014 to honor the 15 deputies who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The event is a road cycling ride through a rural area in eastern Hillsborough County. The ride starts at McDonald Elementary School and includes some tree-lined areas and some small hills. Riders have the choice of doing 25 or 50 miles. Registered riders will receive an event shirt and goodie bag.
Course Information:
The course is an open road route on two lane roads through east Hillsborough County.
Directions:
From Interstate 4 take State Road 579 north to Pruett Road. Go east on Pruett Road to McDonald Elementary School which is just east of the intersection of Pruett and Taylor Roads.
