A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines swimming and running. The Thunder Mountain Games Youth Splash and Dash will be held at Veterans Memorial Park with the swim taking place in The Cove and the run going on the multi-use path. The event is open to athletes ages 7-15*. The focus is on PARTICIPATION rather than competition. We hope to expose youth participants to the exciting world of multisport! This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. There are two age groups doing two different distances:
- Ages 7-10 Swim 100 yards (2 laps) followed by a .5 mile run
- Ages 11-15 Swim 200 yards (4 laps) followed by a 1 mile run
Course Information:
Pool swim followed by out and back run on sidewalk and paved path
