The Boulder Sunset has grown to be one of the local favorites, due to its later start and warmer water temperatures. With a Sprint, Olympic, Duathlon and 5K run, this nonprofit event attracts the entire community for one unforgettable day. The Sunset is the perfect race for the seasoned triathlete and newbie alike. Our swim support, smaller waves, and course markings will make for a safe, epic and stress-free race experience. The course is the same as the Boulder Sunrise, which gives each athlete the chance to beat their previous time and win the Double Dare Challenge.
Course Information:
Boulder Sunset will take place at “the Rez” in Boulder, at the base of the foothills. The scenic bike course along the foothills is fast and fun. Finish your race on a beautiful dirt road along the Boulder Reservoir and then enjoy an ice cold beer in the grass at the expo!
