2015 Maine State Kids' Triathlon:

  • The 9th Annual Maine State Kids Triathlon is a non-competitive untimed race everyone is a winner!
  • A Medal of Recognition will be awarded to each participant!
  • Adult Race (Maine State Triathlon & Aquabike) on Sunday August 9.

    • Course Information:

    kids triathlon race course: 

  • 100 yard swim, across Angevine Pond at Angevine Park (North Road, Bethel).
  • 3 mile bike, east on North Road to Big Adventure Center.
  • 1 mile run-1/2 mile out 1/2 mile back = under Rt. 2 highway bridge, up and over recreational bridge over the Androscoggin River, along Bethel Recreational Pathway to a turnaround cone, and back to Big Adventure Center.

    • Directions:


  • Bethel is where Routes 2, 26, & 5 merge.
  • 70 miles northeast of Portland, Maine.
  • 22 miles east of Gorham, NH.
  • Angevine Pond is at 456 North Road, Bethel, ME.

  • Ages 8-14.
  • This is an untimed event.
  • Check your watch to know your time.
  • Bike helmets mandatory!
  • No drafting.
  • No swim aids.
