2015 Trideltathon Triathlon:
• The granddaddy of them all is back for its 31st year. The TriDeltathon, the oldest running pool triathlon in the country, will return to the regular swim/bike/run format in 2015. Overall, age group, and relay awards, as well as special student pricing available. New for 2015—Sport Tek Performance shirts to the first 300 registrants. Volunteer support, as usual, is provided by the ladies of Delta Delta Delta sorority, with proceeds going to East TN Children’s Hospital. Expected participation--350
Course Information:
SWIM
400 meters
This will be an outdoor pool swim at the Student Aquatic Center,
BIKE
6 miles
A two lap tour of campus with a few rollers broken up by a flat section along Neyland Drive.
RUN
3 miles
The three mile run traverses campus, winding by Neyland Stadium and Thompson-Boling basketball arena. A fairly hilly run with water stops at miles 1 and 2.
