2015 Lake Terramuggus Sprint Triathlon Series:

This is a 6 race sprint triathlon series staged throughout the summer on Thursday nights at Blish Park in Marlborough Connecticut.

The Lake T Sprint Series is an opportunity for every level triathlete to train, compete, and have a blast!!

Bike racks are first come, first serve.

Waves are male/female.

Relay division available.

There will also be an Olympic Distrance Triathlon on Saturday August 8th.

Course Information:

The race starts with a 600 yard open water swim in Lake Terramuggus.

Followed by a 2 loop 12 mile rolling course through scenic Marlborough.

Finish with a 3.1 mile run around the lake.

The course is open to traffic and monitored by volunteers and public safety

We do have a hard cut off time for cyclist however everyone is encouraged to finish.

Race rules are enforced and chip timing is provided by Timing Plus New England.

Directions:

Marlborough is in central Connecticut

15 miles south-east of Hartford

Between Glastonbury & Colchester

Just off Rt 2

From Hartford:

Take Rt. 2 east for about 15 minutes to exit 12(marlborough).

Go straight off the exit ramp and follow that road for about 12 mile and turn left onto Park road.

The race is at Blish Park which is 1/4 mile up Park Road on the right.

From Colchester:

Take Rt. 2 west to exit 13 (rt 66 marlborough exit).

Left on 66

Right on N Main Street

go 1.3 miles

Right on Park Road.

Blish park will be a quarter mile up the hill on the right.

Parking:

Parking is limited so please car pool if possible.

Parking is permitted next to the baseball diamond on Park Road and to the right side of the lake town parking area.

The left side is for town residents only.
