The American Triple-T Ohio starts everything off with the SUPER SPRINT. This short race will be the first opportunity for participants to see what they are truly in for. The swim starts off in time-trial format with participants going off every 1-3 seconds on a spectator friendly 250 meter rectangle swim course off the boat ramp area at Salt Fork Lake. Participants will then mount their bike for a quick 6k out and back bike course within the park. After completing this 6k course participants will take on a flat 1 mile run.
BIKE: Exit the transition area and follow Park Road 18 to Park Road 3. Go left on Park Road 3 to the bike turn around. Reverse your course and return back to the transition area.
RUN: Exit the transition area and follow cones to the run turn around at the end of Park Road 18. Reverse your course and return past the transition area to the finish.
Saturday morning starts off the American Triple-T Ohio race number 2 — the OLYMPIC AM. The 1500 meter (.93mi) swim starts off in time-trial format with participants going off every 1-3 seconds on a two-lap clockwise rectangle swim course along the shoreline of Salt Fork Lake. Participants will then mount their bike for a challenging 40km (24.8mi) bike course that will challenge all ability levels. Participants will tackle challenging terrain that includes nearly 2000 feet of climbing in and around the Salt Fork region. After completing this challenging bike course, participants will take on an 11km (6.82mi) run on part of the Shadbush trail — a trail that you will get to know very well by the end of the weekend. Featuring both single and double track sections of rugged forest along with rolling meadow crossings, this trail will humble all.
