A new initiative launched by USA Triathlon (national governing body of triathlons) to promote a series which will consist of 15 events in each of USATs ten (10) regions. All Sports Productions and Fayetteville, Arkansas were chosen to host one of these events.

Believe it or not, before the days of bike racks, triathlons and multisport events were still as prominent as ever. The Retro Tri Series is taking a step back to those days by offering a unique series that highlights the retro allure that once was. Retro attire is encouraged to enhance the experience and atmosphere! In specific, the USA Triathlon Retro Tri Series is a youth and adult multisport event that combines swimming, biking, and running. The event is timed, but not for awards or placing as the focus is on participation rather than competition.

pool swim, paved bike course, hard and soft surface run course.

Finisher t-shirts, medals, sponsor's products, post-race food and door prizes will make this a great first triathlon experience for someone. There is also a kid's only triathlon for ages 5-14 that will be held immediately following the race, so bring the entire family. Come out and try the multisport lifestyle.
