This spring the Shenandoah Aqua-Blaze will have you exploring one of the most picturesque rivers and mountain trails Virginia—or anywhere, really—can offer. The adventure starts with a 12-mile paddle on the Shenandoah River followed by a 12-mile trail run or trek through the mountains of George Washington National Forest to the finish line. With this race format you’ll only need a pair of running shoes, water supply, and race nutrition. Sign up to compete, or just come out and enjoy a day of fun at your own pace. Soloists and two-person teams are welcome. After the race, enjoy a great meal and view the other exciting events at the REV3 race site. The Aqua-Blaze is limited to the first 25 soloists or teams so sign up soon!
This race is a 12-mile paddle followed by a 12-mile technical trail run. The only required gear is a pair of running shoes, water supply, and race nutrition. You can sign up to compete or just come out and enjoy a day of paddling and running at your own pace.
Downriver Canoe Company, Bentonville, VA
From Northern Virginia, take I-66 West to exit 13 (Linden). Turn left off the ramp. Go one block to a stoplight where you'll take a right onto Rt. 55 West. At the fifth stoplight, turn left onto 340 South. Drive eight miles; the park's entrance is on the right.

Super early registration is $80.00 per team member & $100 for soloists until November 30st, 2014
Early registration is $90 per team member & $110 for soloists until December 31st, 2014
Regular registration is $100.00 per team member & $120 for soloists until February 28th, 2015
Late registration is $110.00 per team member & $130 for soloists until close
An additional $8 race day fee is required by USARA and can be paid on race day or during online registration.
Included: Boat, single-blade paddle, and PFD
