2015 Wildflower Olympic Distance Triathlon:

  • The Olympic Distance Triathlon is an amateur age group and relay team event.
  • This world-class course includes a 1.5K open water swim, a 40K (extremely hilly bike course) and a brutal 10K run course.
  • The race will include the Wildflower collegiate championships. The best college triathletes from around the country will be competing for Wildflower collegiate, individual and school honors. It is a great race for both beginners and accomplished competitors.
  • The Olympic Distance race will also be part of the Triathlon Club Team Competition event.


  • 1.2 mile Swim | 56 mile Bike | 13.1 mile Run - Long Course (saturday)
  • .25 mile Swim | 9.7 mile MTB | 2 mile Run - Mountain Bike (saturday)

  • 1.5k Swim | 40k Bike | 10k Run - Olympic (sunday)

    Olympic Course:
      Bike course starts up Lynch ill - with a very steep climb, and proceeds over rolling hills and loops back into the park.  Run starts up Beach Hill for a steep 1K hill climb.

    Lake San Antonio is about one hour from either King City to the north, or Paso Robles from the south.

    Heading from Hwy 101 South
    Take Hwy 101 South to the Jolon Road G-14 exit just north of King City. Proceed south on G-14 approximately 20 miles.At Lockwood make a right turn on Interlake Road (G-14) and proceed 13 miles and turn left onto San Antonio Road. Proceed another 3 miles to the park.

    Heading from Hwy 101 North
    Take Hwy 101 North to Paso Robles. Exit on 24th Street (G-14 West). Proceed west through Paso Robles on G-14 approximately 14 miles. Turn right on Lake Nacimiento Drive and proceed over the dam. Three miles past the dam turn left onto Interlake Road. Go 7 miles and turn right onto San Antonio Road. Proceed 3 miles to the lake entrance.
