So you call yourself an outdoorsman (or outdoorswoman). You bushwhack. You backpack. You rock climb. You kayak. Your middle name should be Crockett for all the frontiers you’ve conquered. Good for you. We’re impressed. Now, tell us: are you tough enough to be a GrizzlyMan?

Find out on Sunday, June 7 by participating in the 2nd Annual Ann Arbor Triathlon: The GrizzlyMan, presented by the Grizzly Peak Brewing Company. This race will test your abilities in ways that your muscles never imagined. Choose your challenge: triathlon (swim, bike, run), duathlon (run, bike, run), or aquabike (swim, run). The wild, open waters of Pinckney State Recreation Area’s Halfmoon Lake await those prepared to take the plunge and try the tri. Fourteen miles of Gregory, Michigan’s rural, backcountry roads lie ahead for every cyclist. And then there’s “The Poto,” the famous Potawatomi Trail, one of Southeast Michigan’s most formidable trails, complete with rocks, roots, ruts, and sandy stretches, not to mention technical climbs and rapid descents. It’s enough to make a mountain man cry.

But not a GrizzlyMan. So… have you got what it takes to be a GrizzlyMan (or GrizzlyWoman)?
