Run for 57th AHC is a 5K Run/2K Fun Walk held at Possum Kingdom Lake, TX, Saturday, Armed Forces Day, May 16, 2015. The race starts and finishes at the Chamber of Commerce, 362 N. FM2353, Possum Kingdom Lake. The race is organized by former member of the 57th Assault Helicopter Company which served in Vietnam 1967-1973. This Vietnam Veterans' Group will donate the next proceeds to the National Vietnam War Museum, Mineral Wells, TX.
Possum Kingdom Lake is no stranger to events like Run for 57th AHC. For the past three years the Lake community has hosted the TRIFECTA Triathlon which takes place the second Sunday in September. The Tri had over 400 athletes participate in 2014.

Course Information:
The USATF Certified 5K course is flat, paved and fast. Chip timing will be utilized for 5K runners.
Directions:
Possum Kingdom Lake is 90 miles WNW of the DFW metroplex.
