This is an indoor event. A swim, bike and run in which everyone will be racing the same amount of time. The challenge is to get as much distance as you can in the set among of time. The times are as follows: 10 minute swim (In an indoor pool); 10 minute transition; 20 minute bike (On a stationary bike); 5 minute transition; 15 minute run (On an indoor track)
Course Information:
Swim: Takes place in Ohio State's Mccorkle Aquatic Pavilion's competition pool. Former OSU swimmer Jake Busch call is, "one of the fastest pools in the country...even the world."
Bike: Will be done on standard gym stationary bikes. No matter how hard you pedal, you will not catch the person in front of you. Conversely, no matter how soft you pedal, you will not be caught by the person behind you.
Run: The run will be done on the RPAC's 200m indoor track. The turns are even tighter than a pro triathlete"s buns.
