2015 Rocketman Triathlon:

The Rocketman Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned Olympic Distance Triathlon put on by the Team Rocket Tri-Club. 2015 marks the 22nd year for the Rocketman Triathlon.

The event takes place at 7:30 am on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at the Carroll D. Hudson Recreation Area on Redstone Arsenal.

This race benefits the USMCR Toys for Tots Program. All participants and spectators are URGED to bring a new toy to the race. Toys can be turned in at packet pickup.

** NEW THIS YEAR** This event is on a US Military Installation. You will be required to provide your Social Security Number (SSN) when you register. You will be contacted before the event and asked to provide SSN and Date of Birth for those coming with you.

** NEW THIS YEAR** Only US citizens will be allowed on the installation. If you are a Foreign National, DO NOT register for this event, as you will be denied access to the installation.

All online entries must be received by August 16, 2015.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: You may cancel and receive a full refund for your registration fee if you notify the Race Director no later than August 1, 2015. After August 1st, your registration fee will be deferred for Rocketman 2016.

Cut-Off Times: We encourage race participants at all levels, however ALL participants must complete the event in under 4 hour 30 minutes. The swim must be completed in no more than 1 hour from the time the participant started. The bike must be completed in no more than 3 hours from the time the participant started. Event officials reserve the right to pull a participant off the course if it appears as though that participant will not be able to meet the above time requirements.

Relay Teams that are registered and later change team members, will be required to cancel and re-register, and pay the registration fees at the time they re-register.

Aquabike (Swim/Bike): Race Participants will be seeded by Estimated Swim Time (EST) and will cover the same course as the Triathlon (Swim 1500m, Bike 40K).

Collegiate: Must be a Full Time Student

Military: Currently serving Uniformed Personnel (Active, Guard, Reserve). Does not apply to Military Retirees, spouses or children of Active or Retired Military Personnel.

1st, 2nd, 3rd 5-year age groups, starting with the 15 to 19 age group ending with 85+ year olds
1st Place Relay Teams (Male, Female, Mixed, and Mixed Masters). For Mixed Masters, all team members must be Age 40 or over.
