Course Information:
The Black Bear Triathlon offers a spectacular course from beginning to end.
Swim:
- All races begin from the beautiful beach at Beltzville State Park, and into the calm, clear waters of the Beltzville Reservoir.
Bike:
- Next you venture out onto the bike course challenging and fast hills.
- It's been referred to as one of the most scenic courses on the East Coast.
Run:
- The run course offers a lot of shaded areas through the woods and takes you across the Beltzville Dam for a stunning panoramic view of the entire race.

Map & Directions
There is ample parking inside the Beltzville State Park. Please follow the CGI RACING Event Parking signs to assure parking in the appropriate lots.
NOTE: There is only one entrance into the park. Traffic gets very backed up between 6:30 - 7:00 we STRONGLY suggest you arrive prior to 6:30 am.
Beltzville State Park is five miles east of Lehighton, just off of US 209.
From the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike
- Take Exit 74
- Turn left after the toll onto Rt. 209
- Take the next left onto Harrity Rd.
- Take the next Right onto Pohopoco Dr.
- Park entrance is 3 miles down on the right
