2011 Diamond in the Rough Triathlon:

  • A Piranha Sports triathlon event held at the Perryville Community Park in Perryville Maryland.
  • A Greater Atlantic Multisport Series Event
  • A Greater Atlantic Multisport Club Challenge Race
  • One of the most exciting triathlons to do. Challenging bike course with a 7 1/2% grade climb around mile 22!!

    • Course Information:

  • Swim - 1 mile - in the mouth of the Susquehanna River and Chespeake Bay. Typically, its calm. (Water temperature in the past has been around 77 degrees.)
  • Bike - 27 miles - through Perryville and heading towards the Conowingo Dam and back to the park. Hilly and technical bike course.
  • Run - 5 miles - on paved path/streets along the Susquehanna River. Out and back course. Flat course.
