24 hrs of Duathalon : Off Road |

The 24 HRS OF DUATHLON is a 24 hour solo and team relay race, consisting of mountain biking and trail running over varied terrain. Teams of 1, 2 and 4 racers will compete simultaneously to accrue as many points as possible, beginning at 12:00 noon on Saturday and ending at 12:00 noon on Sunday.
The rules are simple:
The Hashawa Environmental Center has long been the "best kept secret" of local mountain bikers and trail runners. Nestled in Carroll County's rolling hills, Hashawa offers miles of trails to choose from that include sweeping downhills, big climbs, fast fire roads and tight single-track... the perfect place for a great event.
While the specifics of the race course are still in development, here are the basics. The race venue will feature separate bike and run courses that will start and finish in the same area. The approximate length of each course will be 8 miles for the bike and 3 miles for the run and feature varied and challenging terrain. Check the website soon for a topo course map!
Hashawa Environmental Center 300 John Owings Road Westminster, MD 21158
From Baltimore: Take 695 to 795 North. Take Route 140 towards Westminster. Once in Westminster, continue on Route 140 to Route 97 North. Take Route 97 North toward Littlestown. Turn right on John Owings Road. Follow signs to race venue.
From Washington / South: Take 495 to 270 North. Follow 270 to Father Hurley Blvd / Route 27 North exit. Take Route 27 North. Follow Route 27 North to Westminster. Once in Westminster, turn left on West Main Street. Turn right Pennsylvania Avenue. Pennsylvania Avenue becomes Route 97 North. Continue on Route 97 North toward Littlestown. Turn right on John Owings Road. Follow signs to race venue.
From Philadelphia / North: Take I-95 South to Baltimore. Take I-695 West towards Towson. Take I-795 North towards Owings Mills / Reisterstown. Take MD Route 140 towards Westminster. Once in Westminster, continue on Route 140 to Route 97 North. Take Route 97 North toward Littlestown. Turn right on John Owings Road. Follow signs to race venue.
