2014 Mountain Lion Challenge Triathlon:
• Start will be at the new trailhead in Deadwood.
• Transition from bike to run will be at the starting line.
• The run swim transition will be the front door of the Rec Center.
• Swim finish at the Deadwood Recreation Center.

Course Information:
ORDER OF EVENTS: Mass start bike first
Bike: 16 miles on the Mickelson Trail. (out and back starting at the Deadwood trailhead and ending at the Deadwood trailhead) Trail is an old railroad line converted to a trail. There is a section that is one half mile uphill up to 17% grade.
Run: 3.1 miles on Mickelson Trail (out and back starting at Deadwood trailhead and ending at the Rec Center).
Swim: 20 lengths (1/4 mile) in the Deadwood Recreation Center Pool.
