Paddle, Pedal, Plod is a mini-triathlon involving kayaking, running and bicycling on Danville's Riverwalk trail. This is a fun race for individuals of all levels of ability.
Course Information:
The race will begin at Camilla Williams Park, 700 Memorial Dr.,
Danville, VA 24541. Participants will then paddle 1.3 miles and take out
at the grassy area beside mile marker EE on the Riverwalk. Participants
will then run 1.8 miles to the Grassy Knoll Kiosk between mile marker D
& E on the Riverwalk and pick up their bikes. They will then ride
4.5 miles down the Riverwalk to Anglers Park where they will circle the
rugby fields and return to the Grassy Knoll Kiosk, leave their bikes,
and run the course back to the grassy area near mile marker EE.
Participants will paddle 750 feet across the Dan River to the
Start/Finish at Camilla Williams Park.
Other Info:
All finishers receive a medal. The top individual male and female
finishers will receive prizes. The top two relay teams will receive a
private zip line package.
