2014 Du Good Duathlon:
• This a fun event for the whole family!
• Year 2!
• All swim portions are in indoor heated pool with private lanes and lap counters.
• When your swim is done, the clock stops for a 10 minute grace period to change into your running shoes and hit the pavement!
• 5k run is flat and accurate around the Ionia HS grounds.
• Cumulative of swim and run time for placings.
• Divisions by 5 years.
• Kids race also starts in the pool for a quick 2 laps (100yds) and then once ALL children are done and changed, they head to the HS track to run their timed mile.
• Prizes for full Duathlon 1-3rd places, overall male and female.
• Kids run, prizes for all, medals for top finishers.
• Every athlete gets their own "swag bag" to take home.
• Use of showers and locker rooms available.
• Please bring own towel, shampoo and lock.
• Late registration fee applies September 8th - - so sign up early!
• Early packet pick up Friday the 12th at same address, 6-9pm.
• Saturday, 9am-2pm.
• Race day registration starts at 11:30.
• Come join the fun and do something GOOD for yourself while doing GOOD for others!!
• All proceeds go to the YMCA annual campaign, allowing individuals and families of all backgrounds and abilities to enjoy the benefits of a healthy lifestyle at the Y!

Course Information:
• Flat and fast!
• 95% tarmack, the rest gravel access road.
Directions:
• from 96, take Ionia exit North approximately 5.5 miles to intersection of 66 (State Rd) and Tuttle.
• There is an Admiral gas station kitty corner from a Walgreens.
• Take a right (east) about 1/2 mile.
• HS is on the north side of the road.
• Y entrance is at far east end of HS
