Challenge your body and mind as you seek to optimize your health! Health is more than just feeling good, achieving a certain body weight or being free from ailments or illness. Optimal Health extends far beyond these common associations to include physical and even mental well-being! Optimize This! is about overcoming the physical and mental barriers to becoming the best version of you!
Optimize This! is the first annual sprint duathlon and the only duathlon in Jefferson City, Missouri. It is the perfect event for those seasoned multi-sport athletes and first-time participants. Participants will run a 1.5 mile course, bike 6.5 miles, and finish with another 1.5 mile run. The sprint style course can be completed on a typical mountain or even a comfort-style bike. If you are looking for a good beginner’s race or a nice tune-up during your triathlon season, join us for Optimize This!
If biking is not your thing, Optimize This! will feature a 5k run/walk for those seasoned runners and beginners not quite into biking. Proceeds for the event benefit Over the Edge and Special Olympics of Missouri.
Directions:
From US Highway 54, take exit towards MO W. Turn away from the airport. Take a right onto 4th Street. North Pavilion will be on your right.
