2010 Panaca Warm-Water Triathlon:

Swim 300 meters in 84 degree warm water, bike on dirt and asphalt, run on dirt

Competition is not too severe, as COMPLETION and preparation is the goal; however, times will be held and given; Group start at the spring.

Last day to sign up for tee shirts (included in $25 fee) is August 30.

Families, children, and teams are welcome.

Water & some supervision is available.

Fruit & munchies at the end.

This is a fun co-ed event for most age groups.

Oldies can walk the 5 K if necessary, without fear of heartfailure or teasing!

Course Information:

This event starts in a natural warm water spring (85 degrees!) swim of 300 meters

Followed by both dirt and paved road 10 K bike ride.

Finish with an offroad run/walk of 5 K.

Directions:

Panaca, Nevada, is located in Lincoln County 165 miles north of Las Vegas, 100 West of St. George, Utah on Highway 93.

There are motels in Caliente (15 miles south) and Pioche (ll miles north).

This is a great way to start off your Labor Day Weekend.
