Course Information:
A team of Fort Lee advisers has mapped out the course on a training field that stretches out over 80 acres of hard-packed dirt, tall grass, gullies, hills and, of course, a stretch of mud. While there is no combat, there will be plenty of challenge as racers prove their strength and courage on a field on which American Soldiers train for the challenge of protecting and serving their nation.

Directions to 5K venue from Fort Lee:
1. Head north on Sisisky Boulevard toward Sisisky Gate
2. Continue onto VA-144 N
3. Turn right onto River Road
4. Proceed 1.8 miles to 5K venue
Directions to 5K venue from Interstate 95:
1. Take exit 54 for VA-144/Temple Ave
2. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Virginia 144 S and merge onto VA-144 S/Temple Avenue. Continue to follow VA-144S. .
3. Turn left onto River Road
4. Proceed 1.8 miles to 5K venue
Directions to 5K venue from Petersburg:
1. Head west on E Washington Street toward S Sycamore Street
2. Take the 1st left onto S Sycamore Street
3. Take the 2nd left onto E Wythe Street
4. Continue straight onto E Washington Street
5. Turn left onto Puddledock Road
6. Turn right onto VA-144 S
7. Turn left onto River Road
8. Proceed 1.8 miles to 5K venue

1. Head west on Broadway Avenue toward N Mesa Drive
2. Turn left onto N Mesa Dr
3. Turn right onto River Rd
4. Proceed 3.0 miles to 5K venue
Directions to 5K venue from US-460:
1. Head northwest on US 460 W to I-295 N
2. Follow I-295 N to VA-36 W/Oaklawn Boulevard in Hopewell. Take exit 9B from I-295 N
3. Merge onto VA-36 W/Oaklawn Boulevard
4. Slight right toward VA-144 N
5. Continue on VA-144 N
6. Turn right onto River Road
7. Proceed 1.8 miles to 5K venue
