The 3rd annual sprint triathlon consists of a 400 meter swim, 12 mile bike ride and 5K run. The swim portion is conducted in the eight lane, 50 meter competitive pool at the Springs Aquatic Center in Tiffany Hills Park, 9400 N Congress. Both the bike ride and run are conducted outside Tiffany Hills Park. The cycling portion is a mostly rural, partially hilly route north and west of Tiffany Hills Park and back. The bike portion is not a closed course. The run consists of one long, gradual hill and one short steep hill in the middle with the beginning and end mostly on the flat.
This is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must either have an annual membership with USAT, and provide the membership number or purchase a one-day membership for this particular event.
