What
Join two-person teams to race around Sertoma Pack, solving clues as you make your way through various checkpoints. At each checkpoint you must complete a task before getting your next clue and move on to the next checkpoint. These checkpoint challenges may test you mentally or physically or might just be downright silly. The first team to complete all of the challenges successfully is the winner.

9:00 a.m. - First Team Starts the Race

Where

The Amazing Race for Courage will start and finish in Sertoma Park. The course is broken up by 10 checkpoint challenges. The race will take about 1 and a half hours to complete.

Why
The Amazing Race for Courage is a great event, giving participants the chance to challenge themselves both physically and mentally while having a whole lot of fun. But more importantly, it is a fundraiser for The Children’s Advocacy Centers of North Dakota's fight against child abuse. All proceeds will benefit the Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center in Bismarck.

Cost (Registration and Donations)
Registration is $50/team.

However, each team has the opportunity to win incentives and advantages by raising donations from family and friends to support their team. Teams may collect donations using our convenient online donation system or with the donation forms available online. All donations are tax deductible.

Fundraising Incentive

Teams will be released from the starting line in thirty-second intervals starting with the team(s) that raised the most money down to the team(s) that raised the least. Teams that have raised the same amount of money will be released at the same time. All teams may continue fundraising until midnight September 11, 2014 in order to qualify for their start time.

Raise $1,000 and win a Fast Forward allowing you to skip any one challenge of your choice.

The Finish
The Amazing Race for Courage will officially end once all teams have made it to all the checkpoints and completed each challenge, or have been disqualified by failing to complete a challenge on time. The grand prize will be awarded at this time.
