2010 Charleston Challenge Duathlon:
All of the Charleston Challenge Series of races offer plenty of paved on site parking, indoor changing area, indoor restrooms, post race food, great quality shirts, door prizes and top quality trophies.
The Charleston Challenge Duathlon is a race that will challenge elite athletes and provide a wonderful race event for the first time participant.
Individual athlete and teams are welcome.

2 mile run, 19 mile bike, 2 mile run. All legs of the race are loops.
The first is a rolling 2 miles that ends in a paved transition area.
The bike portion offers flat sections, rolling hills, 4 challenging climbs and descents that will allow speeds in excess of 40 MPH!

Directions To Race From I-57: - Take exit 190 east on IL route 16 nine miles into Charleston. Turn right at the second stop light onto Reynolds. Follow Reynolds Drive south 8 blocks to Carl Sandburg School.
Directions To Race From I-70: - Take exit 119 north on IL route 130. Follow route 130 north 20 miles to Charleston. Turn left at the first stop light onto Lincoln Avenue. Follow Lincoln Ave. to Reynolds Drive. Turn left on Reynolds Drive, 8 blocks to Carl Sandburg School.
