2014 5K Race for Matt and Grace:
• This is a race to support FARA (Friedrich Ataxia Research Alliance), the organization attempting to find a cure to Friedrich Ataxia disease through scientific research.
• Friedrich Ataxia is a rear, debilitating, and progressive neurological disease for which there is currently no cure.
• The normal lifespan of someone with FA disease is between 35 and 40 years.

Course Information:
The course is a 5k trail run that has become Rhode Island premiere off road race. Runner are taken through grassy fields and pathways through the woods. The finish line is on the outdoor track.
Other Info:
There will be an after race party starting at noon at The Last Resort - 325 Farnum Pike in Smithfield. The after party will have food, drinks, an extraordinary raffle, swimming pool, volleyball, and live entertainment by Eric Narwhal and the Manatees!
