Swim 

• Indoor pool swim in an 8 lane 50 meter pool.  Age group waves of sixteen with two swimmers per lane. 
• Competitors will all start from the deep end of the pool and exit in the shallow end.
• No wetsuits will be allowed.
• All competitors must wear the provided race swim cap
• All competitors must start in their assigned swim wave
• Competitors must wear proper attire for the swim or race and provide their own goggles.
• Life guards will be present during the swim.

Bike

• The bike portion will be an out and back, which will follow north on the West River Pkwy bike lane and return on the bike/run path of West River Pkwy.  
• All bikers should stay to the far right hand side of the bike lane and bike/run path.
• All bikers will continue this loop depending on distance required by age group.
• NO triathlon or time trial bikes with aero bars are permitted.
• All bikers should come prepared with bike, helmet and proper gear.
• Rochester Cycling will be on site to provide any race day maintenance

Run 

• The out and back run course will start from the REC Center and follow south on the run trail opposite of the bike course.
• There will be an aid station provided at each turnaround.
• All runners must wear proper run or race attire and must wear bib number

Transition

• Transiton area will be in the REC Center parking lot
• All competitors must have their bike and gear in the transiton area by 7:15am (30 min prior to race start)
• All bikes must be placed on the bike rack prior to the race and during bike/run transiton by athletes to avoid disqualification
• Please respect all your fellow competitors and keep a clean and organized transiton area

Packet Pick-Up

Packet pickup will take place at Rochester Cycling on Friday, Aug 1st from 12-7pm.

Race day packet pickup and race day registration will be available from 6-7am at the REC

Race day registration price will be $50 plus a $10 1 day USAT membership fee

T-Shirts will not be guaranteed for race day registration

**Swim wave assignments will be provided at packet pick-up

Event Schedule

Start time for age group 15-17 swim will be at 7:45 am

Start time for age group 12-14 swim will be at 8:30 am (approximate)

Start time for age group 9-11 swim will be at 9:15 am (approximate)

Start time for age grop 6-8 swim will be at 10:00 am (approximate)

*The next age group will begin the swim, once all athletes from the previous age group have returned from the bike portion of the race.

*These times can change depending on participation numbers 

Price & T-shirts

Price for early registration will $40 plus processing and a 1 day $10 USAT membership unless the athlete has a USAT membership number

Price wil increase to $50 plus processing and a 1 day $10 USAT membership on July 12th

T-Shirts will be guaranteed to all participants who register online before July 25th
