The support is awesome, so expect plenty of course protection by local police and the many volunteer groups.Look for the great finisher medal, cool awards and more!
RACE LIMIT = 448 (capacity is limited by swim area to 1st run transition space)
The venue for this event is the Sumner County YMCA. You will swim in a very calm inlet of Old Hickory Lake, run 1 mile from the lake to the transition area, complete your 12 mile bike ride, then run another 2 miles to the finish.
The race transition is actually only 0.6 miles from the swim area. The race finish will be adjacent to the race transition area, which is located at the Sumner County YMCA.
To provide the best transition and finish area the transition is more than a short jog from your swim exit. Thus, you get to experience a non-typical triathlon!
You will be walking or jogging the 0.6 miles to the swim start from the main transition area for the race start, so plan accordingly.
Old Hickory Lake is located just behind the Holiday Inn of Hendersonville.
Hendersonville is located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee
