Be a part of the many hands that will support LifeFlight of Maine by completing one of the longest open water swims in New England. Tackle the nearly 3-mile stretch of ocean from Lincolnville to Islesboro in Penobscot Bay to demonstrate the vulnerability of life on Maine’s islands and in its rural communities, and the many hands it takes to provide emergency medical services across the state.
By joining this event, you will become part of the LifeFlight team. It takes each and every one of us, from volunteers to emergency medical professionals, to save lives in Maine. As LifeFlight completes its fifteenth year serving the people of Maine, more than 17,000 critically ill and injured patients will have been helped by the caring and talented professionals who make up our state’s critical network of emergency medical services.
