2014 Tippecanoe 5K & 10K Mud/Trail Run:
• The Trail run will include a minimum of eleven obstacles negotiated on a 5K course.
• The Kids run will be on a separate course with scaled down obstacles.
• This event is being held in association with the Charlotte Harbor Nature Festival and proceeds from the event will be used to enhance Tippecanoe Park and promote environmental awareness.
• Obstacle information can be found at the Charlotte County website beginning August 1.
• Post race food and entertainment will be provided.
Course Information:
Tromp through tires filled with water and mud.
Make your way through an intricate web of rope.
Climb up and jump off an 8-12 feet wall of hay.
Make your way through fresh turned sand and mud trails.
Balance across a 2 foot wide teeter-tauter.
Jump over the hurdles to make it to the smooth boardwalk.
Climb up the side of Mount Tippecanoe on a cargo net.
Belly crawl through the sand under a secured net.
Crawl on hands and knees through large culvert tunnels.
Plan for surprises.
